I am going to be paying for someone to design me a toon, I am going to be paying someone to come up with a corporate logo and text for my site, I am going to be paying someone to design me a flash based website... so loads of money for the industry yay !
However I remember a site where people wanting a logo for example... would post on this site starting a contest and those who wanted to put a entry in would submit it and then the person who started the contest would choose the winner...
It's like the site the guy posted 99designs.com but a lot bigger... it's been posted on here a ton of times... they escrow the money to make sure the winners get paid...

Do me a favour, get your license out and see if your first name is Jerk ? I dont expect the site to be done on a contest basis... I will be paying hard and fast cash for the site design...
However the logo and toons I like the contest idea a lot... and some of the sites I been told about, seem to prove thats a viable option... if you choose one designer to do your logo for example and they come up with poop then you still have to pay them no ? Where as if you run it as a contest and get 10 people enter, you surely will get one you like the look of, no ?
