I just got mine a few weeks ago. I really like it.
My old phone was a Blackberry Pear.. It was hardly old enough to replace but it was worth it. (one of blackberry's most popular new phones right now.) I really like the G1. G3 network and also has WiFi which is really good. When you shop around make sure the phone has wifi. Some dont. The G1 does.

I almost bought it a few weeks back then changed my mind at the last minute.
I liked all the features and stuff but i dunno, just something about it that put me off a bit. What's more surprising is that the chick that was trying to get me to buy it in the shop was hot as hell, and i still managed to say no...

If thinking about buying one. If you do may I suggest getting the dev version straight from Google rather than doing it through T-Mobile.

I love mine. The app market is really growing fast for the g1/android OS so it gets better every day.
