God, probably 90% of the first adult sites were all using stolen content or scans out of magazines. In the early days, lots of links on The Hun and sites like that where going to unprotected members areas like crazy. Password trading has been here since the beginning and no one has found a way to successfully stop it completely yet as we clearly see by this list, after 7 years and with all the technology out there.
WELL SAID KRL, everyone bitches about copyrights this and copyrights that and those same people use Kazaa to grab there favorite songs and yes your right half of the adult internet was started on stolen penthouse scans grabbed from newsgroups.

Password sites will ALWAYS be around, there not that big a deal anyways, just for you newbies, this is not a list that many people have access too, only a few people were ment to have access to this list, its a IRC crackers list that only the top IRC chat boys get hold of. Someone must of posted it somewhere for the fun of it and thats why we now see it here. That the reason all the passwords were working when it was posted.

Buncha bullshit sites anyways.

Like $2 whores.

Shitty site's like some of those deserved to be cracked.

Why is there so many shitty paysites?
For real? They CANNOT retain very well...
Most of the sites don't even follow their niche..
Let's say a fat chick site.. there's a shitload of videofeeds.. maybe 2 of them are even related.. Well, it ain't my problem I guess.

I know this was besides the point.. just wondering out loud.

Good point TeenGodFather....

To many shit sites out there that wouldn't even constitute to be considered a free site and these clowns are charging upwards to $40.00/month. Then they wonder why their retention is only 4 weeks or less.

They then find themselves as exit whores to other shit sites on a per sign up basis just so they can somehow cover their plugin and hosting expense. The whole thing is a true fuckin' joke.

To bad there isn't a way (as of yet) where if you want to be in the business as a paysite operator, there would be a licensing fee similiar to that of liquor license. That would definately eliminate a majority of the shit out there.

The $750.00 fee that these 3rd party processors imposed was not nearly enough in my opinion. Make it $5K per url and see how many fall by the waste side in a matter of weeks.

$5k isn't shit for someone that actually has a solid plan.

I just paid $65K for our liquor license and never even gave it a second thought. It was all in the business plan and just considered the price of doing business.

To many companies in this industry think of this as porn first and a business second.

As I stated earlier, I was simply in awe of the garbage out there.

I think that there is a certain member of the board that can give some advice as to how to avoid this, but he is too humble and quiet to speak up. But I know that throughout my travels on the net I have only seen his site once. Nice idea BTW bro.

its a major problem, but! there is a solution!
use http://www.ProxyPass.com to protect your .htaccess files from:
Brute Force Hacking Attempts
Proxy-Server Attacks
Password Sharing
Distributed Password Cracking
Significant Server Downtime
