Though a couple tips..never make fun of a woman for eating especially if she is dealing with any hormones. Secondly, generally it is a good idea to never bitch in public about a partner you intend to keep as a partner. Board posts last forever and even when you think people won't find them, they can. You may just have been blowing off steam but a bit down the line if she saw it it might cut deeper than you meant it to.

Oh and I got married for the first time (I am a re-married widow) I was 19..so, if it is right then it is right regardless of age but the second time around I got married at 31 and it feels much more like going into things with a clue about life. Though, I could still use a few more of those clues at times.

I got married at 22, and it's been two years now. I know a lot of you guys (for good reason) counsel against early marriage to allow time to get a fucking clue about life, enjoy the many perks of being single and in your prime, etc. However, for some (like myself), I found getting married young really did me a world of good.

It helped me take my life and my responsibilities seriously, and I think I owe much of my recent success in life to the stability a serious relationship created. When I met my wife, I was living in a 400 sq. ft. efficiency apartment, spending all my money on booze and other indulgences, and had recently wrecked my sports car while driving drunk.

Since then, I totally cleaned up my act, made quantum leaps in career advancement (more than quadrupled my income), had my first kid, and bought a nice house. So I'm definitely one to vouch for such a move, but the rest of the guys are definitely right in most cases. :2 cents::2 cents:

EDIT: Don't be afraid to do what's right for you, but don't let a consensus of insensitivity be pushed on you either.

Might be time to spread your wild oats. I couldn't imagine being engaged or married at 21 ~ there is way too much to see / do before putting the handbrake on :2 cents:

I don't normally agree with baddog but you have to save yourself. you are way too young to even realize how little you know at this point. The last thing you need is to be stuck to someone like this for the rest of your life. there are perfect girls or guys out there for everyone, you just need to listen to your heart and be willing to do some searching is all. it will be the hardest thing you have ever had to do by breaking up with her, but it will also be the smartest thing. Think about it man... in ten years you will look back at this time of your life and wonder why you waited so long.

I was engaged at 20 and it was one of the worst ideas ever. People change so much in their early 20s. It's a miracle if you can keep that relationship going through those years and come out of it together in the same place.
