I don't know how you all can deal with earthquakes, they freak me out. at least here we have warning, hurricane coming, pack up get out, hope for the best, you guys only get the hope for the best part.

There has been crazy earthquake activity in Yellowstone this past week too, over 300 quakes. Some amateur geologist is predicting a supervolcano eruption and telling people to evacuate! No confirmation from anyone who seems to actually have a clue.

Northridge quake back in 94' ... THAT was an earthquake! Imagine feeling AND hearing your floors, walls and ceiling violently shaking for 10 seconds ... 10 seconds is not really a long time, right? ... WRONG! Count one mississippi, 2 mississippi, etc ... House was WRECKED! Shit everywhere! Book cases fell over ... the fridge fell over ... the walls and ceiling above our bed had a crevice 2-3 inches deep! Mad craziness!

The one thing i found interesting after that was EVERYONE was so nice and polite to each other while driving that morning. All the traffic lights were out and people were like, "go ahead, waving at each other ... no, YOU go ... it's ok! :1orglaugh
