I would add another server and router before replacing a script that got your
site this much traffic.

I'll toss in another vote for Konrad's - just make the tables InnoDB and follow his split lighttpd/apache web/media boxes setup and you'll be rocking

I actually got it working on INNODB by changing the table structure up a bit.

My script has caching in place to help it handle traffic better but depending on what features are most important to you konrads will probably be your best bet. It's expensive but if you're getting traffic don't fuck around with any other script.

I could hold your hand through tweaking mine out but in the end konrads is the only thing proven to serve really high traffic loads.

Yeah, STXT works great.. it's a lill on the complex side though.. due to it's multi site nature.. it's also a TGP script..
We are coming with a FULL BLOWN tube script real soon.. keep watching GFY..
Fris already kinda mentioned it, we are working out last details before launch..

It will not be a $500 solution though....people that look for a cheap script are served by TEVS, STXT, Nubiles and some others already.. they work great for what they made to do..
