22" monitor with accurate colors at diff angles?

Man, this Samsung T220 ended up sucking pretty bad.

I calibrated the monitors but the color variation is very noticable at different angles even when I'm not moving my body or head... for example white on the left of the monitor looks different than white on the right

add to that i'm using dual monitors, there is no way i can use these...

so can anyone recommend some good monitors with accurate colors even if the viewing angle is changed just a little?

I can do 20 or 22" ... these are going up on ebay unless someone here wants em

Man if you have the money...get you a couple of Apple Displays. I have 3 of them (23") and they are badass. You can use them on a PC, they look great and are easy to calibrate!

If you don't go for an Apple Display, I've had good luck with the new 24" Dell's.

Most 22 inch monitors are TN panels. TN panels just flat out suck imo. Get something that has a PVA panel or better. The brand doesn't matter all that much. The nice panels Dell and Apple have are made by samsung or were the last time I checked, IPS panels.

Check out buyers guide at http://www.lcdresource.com/

I bought and returned a ton of monitors last year. I settled on Viewsonic 24" and it looks really good. Best text of any monitor I tried and I can run it at any resolution and it looks fine. Most LCDs you can only run at one res.

I tried two samsungs and they were both shit. The text had this weird red/blue around it and it hurt the fuck out of my eyes.

I think I posted when you first got the samsungs. I'd been researching them because I've been looking at their new line of LCD big screen TVS. Had heard the issue with the monitor calibration.

Somewhere in my reading there was something about there being 3 different makers for the samsung T220 and that there's a way in the settings to tell who made it.. the ones actually made by Samsung (not sure if it's just a particular part of the unit they are talking about or not) are supposed to be the most consistent of the three. Someone had even mentioned going through several in a store, plugging each one in to find out the maker and finally getting two that were by Samsung after several tries.

I can't work with dual monitors. You really need 3. One center and 2 flanking it. I have a 30" Apple display as my main and 2 20" dell's on each side. (And a 4th samsung to the far left) I used to run dual displays, but that center line drives me fucking apeshit. Granted I would still opt for that over a single monitor... Sorry if that didn't help much.

let me also add that colors are very natural and it does not hurt your eyes even after working on it LONG hours.
