    question for female pug owners

    who have females, how long does the first heat last?

    Since 1999: 69 Adult Industry awards for Best Hosting Company and professional excellence.

      Upwards of 2 weeks...of flow. Then they're fertile the next few weeks after.

      So about a month, give or take a few days.

          do them a real favour and make their first heat their last...get them fixed. My pug had a really hard time (though the spaniel was worse) with her heats. After they were fixed things were so much better and we could take them for a walk without having to worry what male dog might be approaching.
