Company is approved by VISA to serve Canadian-based online merchants.

TEMPE, Ariz. - CCBill, a global e-commerce solutions provider, is now a Visa approved payment gateway and service provider for Canadian-based online merchants.

In 2002, Visa International instituted new rules and regulations for international regions in relationship to how Internet payment service providers and sponsored merchants would be permitted to accept VISA transactions. Unfortunately, these rules and regulations left the majority of Canadian-based merchants with limited or no options for processing their Visa transactions.

"The past few years have been challenging for Canadian based online merchants, especially since such a strong percentage of all Internet sales are on the Visa network," said Ron Cadwell, CEO of CCBill. "In keeping with our ongoing mission to provide our clients with the most valuable and secure global payment solutions, we continued to diligently search for a viable Visa processing solution for our Canadian-based merchants. Now, thanks to CCBill, Canadian-based online merchants no longer have to miss out on this huge revenue potential."

So if we ever decide to migrate to a country with less oppressive pornography laws such as said land of the free as previously mentioned, what's the process? Just re-sign up, get approved, and then move links to the new account? Would we need to repay the visa fee? Is the visa fee the same in Canada?

This would involve re-signing up and registering the new account with Visa yes.

Yes it includes high risk accounts and yes the fee is required the same as US.

Indeed. I've talked to CCRA agents who advise setting up biz. in the USA for this very reason.

Its stupid they require non canadian customers to pay GST.
