Citibank refunded my $85 annual fee for AA credit card.

They wanted me so badly so when I called to cancel my AA card they waved it. I guess that 20K bill that I paid a month means something to struggling bustards.

If $20k is a monthly payment on a larger balance, perhaps, but if you are just paying the balance every month they don't really need you. You cost them money.

I did not know Alcoholics Anonymous issued credit cards. Kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it?

The bank still makes money on merchant fees. When I got a Visa debit card many years ago the teller was raving about how great it was and how I could charge everything to the credit account without worrying about excess electronic transaction fees... win for the bank because the merchant pays the fees. This was before law was passed that allowed merchants to impose a surcharge for CC payments.

Fees will never equal interest. Unless he is making 10,000 $2 purchases I don't think he would be a great loss.

That would be American Airlines. Alcoholics Anonymous is what comes to your mind when you see AA? I thought it would be pretty obvious what AA stands for. Or wait, maybe you’re trying to be funny???

Merchant pays fees, and some of those are passed on to the issuer of CC. Have you ever had one, dog? Seriously, sometimes you just buzz in and go “Hey, look at me, I’m old and wise, let me throw my 2 cents in here”.
No, I don’t worth their business. I’m not as good looking as you are, I don’t have a bike, and take pictures every 5 minutes
Fuck off.. Will ya…

Are you sure the banks just take a flat rate per transaction fee?
