Not to mention there a hordes of Jews against the state of Israel, I have had many conversations with some of my Jewish friends about it and quite a few don't see Israel more than another Christian crusader state doomed to fail. I really do feel for the people living there who were hoping to settle down, but it will not be..

In some ways porno is the problem. There are vast cultural difference between the people inhabiting the region. Did you know that the Hajj used to be a Bacchic pilgrimage that culminated in massive orgies around Mecca? In some ways it was these rituals that helped define Islamic conservatism. The repulsion of alcohol and carnality was the very first sacrifice. You think you will bomb them into submission? These people have defined sacrifice, they will take whatever this world will throw at them.

The US loves Israel because they are always an ally in the Middle East. They have a love-hate relationship with the other Middle Eastern countries like Egypt, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Iran, etc. At one point, they were friends or enemies with all of them.

Israel doesn't do shit. It is run on US tax dollars. So that makes it quite easy for the Israeli government to be popular, which would make Israel too powerful. Attacks on Israeli citizens is always a sticking point. It is always #1 on the Israeli governments agenda. Because they don't have to worry about anything else like running water, health care, infastructure, military conflicts overseas.

No attacks = way too powerful Israel that the US can't control.

If you have noticed, the US supplies weapons to all of the nearby countries like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, previously Iraq, etc. This is to make sure that if Israel tries to invade any of them, they won't win, so they won't get too powerful.

And that is why the Clandestine Division of the CIA sends weapons to Hamas through Egypt. They want attacks to continue on Israeli citizens so that the Israeli government doesn't get too popular. Hamas/Hezbollah spend over $2 billion a year on weapons.

A cheap rocket costs around $80,000.00 (not including the launcher). And they are firing hundreds per day. Iran/Syria are broke, and they hate the Palestinians, who are Sunnis. And Bin Laden doesn't have the money. Egypt requires foreign aid from the US, so they couldn't do it on their own. And even though they have a peace treaty with Israel, they don't want them to get too powerful either.

The egyptians did all they could to wipe them out 3000 years ago and they failed, a thousand years later so did the romans, then came along adolf and killed a few million but he also failed, now its the arabs.

Religion is there to be used by those in power to control those not in power, keep them in power and an excuse to do as they please.

The bible, Koran and Talmud are so full of holes it's stupid that anyone in 2009 gives them any credence. But the Jews still maintain Israel was given to them by God and they have every right to it. Every right to throw other people off their land, make life a misery for them and bring in more Europeans to swell their ranks. Even if it was decided that certain areas should be for those other people the Jews still put illegal settlements on that land. They do this with the excuse that it's to protect themselves and it was given to them by God.

After all the persecution the Jews have suffered it seems it's now their turn to make others suffer.

On the other hand Hamas is a terrorist organisation that feeds itself on hate and violence. They would be sending rockets over what ever the agreement was. Even if Israel was returned to them they would find someone else to target. Someone like us.

The Arabs control most of the cheap to get rich oil in the world. If with their financial clout they can't counter the backing of the Jews with Israel why should anyone give it back? On the other hand would you want the Jews controlling the worlds oil?

If God is all knowing and all seeing he must of known oil was going to be the fuel of the 20th and 21st century. So why did he give his chosen people a great place to grow olives and oranges and not tell them to go into Saudi while they were wandering? My ironic humour again.
