I've found when I first change the title, description and content of a site it gets higher SERPS. I've never heard it jumping as high as 4th for a highly searched term but, it could happen.

What I've found with sites that I've changed is after about a day or 2 it drops down and drops down hard.

Eventually it will probably move back up a bit but, unless you have a lot of backlinks, good keyword text content and just good SEO overall you won't climb back up to 4th anytime soon.

Hope this helped a bit.
