that realy fucking sucks man.... but forex managed account is quite shady as well. already the retail forex market is a scam. if you were a managed futures trading house that'd be okay but forex is looked down in the industry professionals (investments & finance). do some good reading thru google about these forex broker shops and how they operate....

hey i really sorry for going OT, and i really hope you get that money from that fucker.

BUT....jesus christ you have no idea how the market works does it? liquidity line is all part of marketing. true, "foreign exchange market" is indeed has liquidity in trillions, but this is limited to banks and large hedge funds.

the market you as retail trader trade in "retail forex market" liquidity doesn't come close to the nymex or CME's futures and options.

what Oanda does is, like most other forex broker, is pool accounts, and basically offset any positions with others.

the "foreign exchange market" is OTC, meaning there are no central exchanges or body that announces the ask and bid prices. The only way you can get actual prices is by signing a link directly with the providers like UBS.....you can't get to these if you are a small time, need at least $20 million and up.

I'm glad you are with Oanda....they are relatively an honest broker compared to others. having used them in the past, there have been large price manipulations. when you type 100,000 orders, those orders do not go past their pool of trader accounts. no way they are willing to trade that much leverage constantly for people with small accounts.

do some more reading on forums and really question the players in this market, and you are at a good position.
