Something to note, though: Do be careful purchasing one of these. They are not warrantied or supported by Apple themselves, and I don't believe you can get the updates directly from Apple (I could be wrong on that). I for one buy from Apple because of the stability and support the company offers. I like the peace of mind of bringing it to ANY apple store and getting the problem resolved there on the spot, and if they can't, I get a new machine with my old stuff copied over. Wonderful

If your question is do they update from Apple as in Leopard downloading patches, security fixes, etc., yes they do, they have legitimate Leopard installs.haha, now i want to hear the haterz next excuse...

Hum. Sounds interesting, but I still wonder if it's worth the price difference. My Macs last for about 3-4 years until I get a new (more powerfull) one, so the difference over 3-4 years not worth the possible hassles down the road...
I still have my (Power PC) G5 purring under my desk and I think it is still good for couple of years...
