    Watching Ghost Hunters on Sci Fi right now...

    They shot in an abandoned hospital a few miles from where I live. I've been there a few dozen times. It's pretty ridiculous with some of the things they say and they are imagining seeing and hearing. I have no idea how these people take themselves seriously.

    The hospital has also been featured in Choke most recently and the last episode of The Sopranos where Uncle Junior is.

                  omg! they heard noises! Who would think abandoned buildings that are decaying and all connected by underground tunnels with water and wind running through them would make noises? WOW!!!

                  I've been in plenty of buildings where the wind actually sounds like old people moaning, but, duh, its just wind.

                                  I believe they started their group for real concrete reasons. That group was formed LONG before any kind of TV series. It was formed way back in 1990 so they were not doing it for any kind of money or as a publicity stunt back than.

                                  But now.. it seems like they're just a bunch of sell outs.

                                      the shows are really lame.

                                      I mean, I find those subjects interesting really I do.. but when your trying to cram bullshit into a weekly show the content is just not going to be there.

                                      These things should only be made as documentaries, and only after a lot of evidence is compiled.

                                      I used to like the ghost shows, but then I could start seeing where they had to play out fake shit just for ratings.

                                      Now I'm on some really good UFO documentaries:

                                      - Dan Akroyd Unplugged on UFO's
                                      - Out of the Blue

                                      Even if your a skeptic, you should check those out.

                                                              I think those are the same people that are always at the old USS North Carolina battleship in Wilmington, doing ghost tours. We tried to do a tour on Halloween, but the line was waaaay too long. They ended up giving a lot of ppl their money back due to the insane wait time. Apparently, some nubes teamkilled 3 of the crew in friendly fire, then another guy got strafed from an enemy plane, and 6 died from a torpedo attack, in WWII. I guess some crazy ghost shit goes down in the engine room, from what I've heard.
