I was looking at all my link trades and cleaning them up by actually clicking each link and checking to be sure my link is on each site.

the Thunder-Ball script says the link is active, but it's no where to be found on the page. you view source and it's there though. I have found a few sites like this.

is this cheating bs, or ok because se's still see a return link?

download www.linkex.dk

place it on any of your domains

put your site url that they are supposed to be linking to in the "Link Settings" - "Alternative Backlinks" box

while logged in, add their site that is supposed to have your link to your linkex.

run the verification script.

that's a good way to use linkex as a secondary link verification script without using it on any of your pages. (not that's there is anything wrong with using it)

- tried thunderball - didn't like it...
- tried linkex - didn't like it... most ppl who use it install it, put a link to it on a few forums and never look at it again..

just doing it all by hand now... keeping track on my own... i find that if you actually talk to the people you trade with they're more likely to keep your links up

Technically, its not cheating, if thunderball can verify the link so will linkex and any other link management system....

However I am the tbn moderator / link manager and even I would admit the link should also be visible to the naked eye aswell, in case you wish to verify manually as some of the members like todo...

I don't know what to say but I will most definetly bring it to Bonds attention so something can be done about it....

Please note this has nothing todo with tbn. Whatever Bond adds or doesn't add to his personal sites is out of my control (as the moderator) same as whatever any other member adds or doesn't add to theirs...

I would like to make it clear that Im in no way responsible for anyone elses personal site maintenance and or haveing or not haveing visible links...

In this case Bond falls under the same individual category as any other trade with any other member where the other party dropped and or failed to linkback and or does not have a visible linkback and as I posted up above....

So I will not defend him and do not approve of you not being able to see your link on any trade. You should be able to, regardless of the method in which the link was added. (autocode, linkex, and or any other link management system)

Funny how quick people are for calling bond a cheater. I don't know the guy really but I do know he does well enough for himself outside of TBN. Well enough that it would just be stupid for him to cheat like this, maybe it's just bad code or some other mistake. The little bit he would get out of cheating like this makes no sense at all considering he doesn't seem all that concerned with TBN.

There's lots of things that need to be improved with TBN or fixed. I can't see this guy worrying about cheating people on trades. Shit if he wanted to do that he could just enable his account to always say the code is there without putting it on his site at all.

It would be nice though if bond would fix up the TBN. Also google has been known to ban sites for link trading, why are sites on tbn open for anyone to see and not private? Besides all the bugs and problems things like that should be fixed...

The page is broken, you also cant see his navigation links or other on page content, I dont think so much its meant to be like that. Looks more like just a busted page thats framed out the bottom.

Look at the code, its just a fuck up. I checked through all my trades with that account and all appear to be fine and on the up and up, I would have to give him the benefit of the doubt here.

Lets Keep it real here, in all honesty if thats the case then why would he take time to even cheat on a few trades (Bond) doesn't seem to wanna be bothered with tbn and doesn't respond to anyone. We all have to contact peeperpimp who is the only one there that actually responds trying to help everyone out as best as he can,, while also giving the impression that he cant really do anything. Even though he seems to want to bend over backwards to help out all the members, he at this point, (it seems) really needs to contact Bond every single time something needs to get fixed... Which in turn tells me that Bond has left him high and dry with no extra access or means to really repair anything for anyone of us. Seems like Bond is actually letting tbn die a slow death. Instead of letting someone else (who seems to want to manage the site correctly) takeover the tbn, so I ask once again, if thats the case then why would he even take time to or even bother to cheat on a few trades?

Seems to me that he is simply not tending to any of his sites, which would explain the broken site brought up within the issue on this thread in the 1st place.

they do ghosting with linkex. so if the site sees the referal coming from your url the hardlinks show up. you have to type in the domain with no referal to see if they are cheating or not.

Look for 3xpee dotcom this guy has added his domain to every one of my linkex domains and is clocking or ghosting. I image the same fuckers are doing it from thunderball
