LOS ANGELES ? The SmashBucks affiliate program has upgraded its promotional tools, launched new sites and entered into new niche markets to update its program.

SmashBucks has actively sought to corner the online market in classic porn sites, according to a company representative. The company rolled out its first sites in the classic niche seven years ago and its flagship site, PornStarClassics.com, features many big-name performers such as Tori Wells, Racquel Darrian, Ginger Lynn, Christy Canyon and John Holmes.

In addition to video-on-demand site PornStarClassics.com, SmashBucks operates CaballeroClassics.com and ClassicVivid.com. The sites are unique in that SmashBucks? proprietary technology allows surfers to chop their own clips and create custom movies that can be downloaded.

?At this point, there is no other online company that even comes close to [our] classic porn star movie galleries [or] classic movies for surfers in the sites,? SmashBucks cofounder Mike Hawk said.

In addition to the new galleries for promotion and new classics sites, SmashBucks also has released photo archive site NakedCloset.com and the gay content site MensMovies.com.

SmashBucks offers up to $65 per signup or 60 percent revshare.

1. Vintage - Porn that was produced prior to the VHS format that is predominantly black & white. I would consider this niche to be more of a connoisseur's or collectors type of niche and most coming prior to the 1960's. Betty Page is probably the most popular name here. I think of images that are grainy and mostly black and white with no sound.

Classic - Huge niche featuring movies primarily from the 70's and 80's also know as the Golden Age of porn. Many of these performers are still actively involved in the industry either as MILF content or behind the scenes. One of the main characteristics or this era was the "BUSH" and I also feel that the movies were produced in a manner more similar to mainstream than you will find today. The list of pornstars here is rather lengthy but names like Ginger Lynn, Nina Hartley, Seka, Annette Haven, Marilyn Chambers, Tori Wells, Barbara Dare, Hypatia Lee, Tracy Adams and Erica Boyer come to mind. Most of these movies had the feel of the 70's and 80's with rock and disco music predominant with the clothing to match. Bell bottoms, halter tops, wide collar shirts and very colorful. Very familiar to a large audience over 35 yrs old. This definitely takes me back to the Good Old Days of my high school and college times.

Retro - To me this means current productions that are shot in a way that gives the feel of Classic Porn. Everything old is new again as they say. This is not really what I would consider a real niche and as with Vintage I think that the potential here is limited. Not sure about the performers in this category.
