Things to make sure you don't forget: reading material for the plane, sunglasses, digital camera, cell phone, tooth brush, etc.

Actually I was going to recommend the same thing. Why would you be kidding? It can get pretty cold on any island you go to if you travel to high enough elevations, which have some pretty cool views. Hell, I caught a nasty cold on the big island when I went to the volcano national park. Me was tough guy, just shorts and shirt, no jacket. Take rain gear too, like umbrella or raincoat.

It's 86 and sunny every stinking day. I think it's rained twice since July.... although one of those times it only lasted for 3 minutes.

So aside from hiking up the volcano, bikini and sunglasses are all that's required here. (maybe a top or a sundress if you go on a dinner cruise or something)
