On a side note you looked beautiful at the XBiz awards hun :)

Awww so did you!!! You looked fantistic!!! :thumbsup

I posted this thread months ago and I don't know why it got bumped but I am glad it did! I went back there to see if they reposted any of my content and sure enough it's all back up and more! I did everything I was supposed to and it took them 3 weeks to take it down. But then they most likely put it right back up day later.

FUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will try but I don't see that working either! But I will go through it just the same. Thanks!

Does anyone have any idea who is running this site?

brassmonkey 02-14-2009 07:55 AM

yeah i guess some fight is better than nothing they still have the content saved

SteveHardeman 02-14-2009 08:37 AM

Wow, I just spent 30 minutes on pornbb. Tons of stolen content. Reality Kings, AmateurAllure, AmateurCreampies, tons tons tons. If you're a producer and you're not using RemoveYourContent or your own efforts to get this shit down, you're doing yourself and your affiliates a disservice.

Can't remember where, but I heard some governing body of .org domains is going to start cracking down on any adult related sites on a .org url. No idea if it's true or not and not sure what amount of effort they'll put into it. And, in addition, I'm sure it only takes a few clicks to send pornbb traffic to someotherdomainbb.com. But, maybe it'll help a little.

Stolen content, tubes, sponsors advertising on tubes, quadruple pre-checked hidden cross sales on cancel pages of sites that update hardly ever, card banging.....someone remind me why I'm in this business. :-)

TeenCat 02-14-2009 08:44 AM

everyone is sending dmca there, so they will have nothing to share soon ... you think they will start shooting own porn? real homemade? that can be start of porn revolution? :)

Michelle69 02-15-2009 06:05 AM

I regularly search some boards and send the usual mail to uploaded or rapidshare and its gone in a day. S&D. If anybody is capable of taking down this kind of boards, let me know, I am willing to share the costs.

paymeback 02-15-2009 10:29 AM

Go after their funding which is katzbabes.com

Convince twistys, DDgirls, videosz and other sponsors that they are paying for pornbb hosting..which also is serving up their own stolen content 24/7

gleem 02-15-2009 03:36 PM

fuck my whole site was there :(

zing.... DMCA on the way.

gleem 02-15-2009 03:38 PM

who's their host? Anyone get through to them, need to zing em a couple DMCA's as well.

brassmonkey 02-15-2009 05:50 PM

its like trying to stop the drug trade theyll move it where u cant see it being exchange:2 cents:

NetHorse 02-15-2009 06:00 PM

PornBB is bad, I've reported a lot of RS links coming from there. The good thing is RS is cooperative in removing shit. I spend 5 minutes a day searching for content I promote, send a quick email to rapidshare and within a couple hours the links are dead. :thumbsup

brassmonkey 02-15-2009 06:07 PM

damn maybe be a opening coming up for a foreign file host like in russia

The problem is no actual hosted content is on their site! It's just a collection of links posted by users, their disclaimer protects them from legal action. It would be like trying to send google a DMCA for allowing pirated content to be displayed within their search results. They will simply claim that they have no control over what is shown. There are so many known warez forums that do this, and trust me legal action has been brought against virtually all of them with no results.

Eventually, rapidshare, megaupload and all the big file sharing networks will be stopped. That is the key to stopping communities that share stolen content. Rapidshare has been dragged into court before, however little came of it due to disclaimers which protect them. Their angle is that the files hosted on their servers are the responsibility of the user who uploads them.

You should make content out of that. Make sure they don't steal it, though.

stormtrigger 02-15-2009 07:11 PM

Is your content downloadable? I never understood why content providers would allow their movies to be downloadable. It's asking for it. Who's going to stop it from being posted on a pirate site? Movies should be streaming only and encrypted so it can only be viewed in the Members Area and nowhere else.

Ashley, your really wasting your time. Focus on creating a great product for the honest folks out there. Most people who steal host with it with shady companies who don't care about our US laws. Its a never ending battle that frankly you won't win. Let it go.

I disagree!! Those shady forums are HUGE and their popularity is growing, some of those threads get 2+ million views in a short period of time.

http://www.alexa.com/data/details/tr...ils/pornbb.org

Their traffic rank is 891!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It takes 5 minutes to copy and paste all the files everyday and send them in an email to rapidshare. It's better to do something then to let it go.

pamon 02-17-2009 11:20 PM

should be a legal way to take them down? no atty's able to do that?

makes be laugh when people try to defend rapidshare.... all rapidshare does is host illegal content at like a 99.9% rate.

BusterBunny 02-17-2009 11:26 PM

did you actually sign up with remove your content or what?

Their site has been taken down more than once. 99.9% of host out there won't host a website like pornbb. That's why they've been taken down and keep moving their site. The problem is there's a million host out there and they can always move their site once it's taken down.

Uh no the people running the site admit to posting content they ripped off paysites. They also admit to helping people do the same thing.

Disclaimers like theirs don't do jack, especially in their case. That's not what's stopping people from suing them.

What about Warez-bb.org, Forumw.org, planetsuzy.org, barfland.com. All forums with tons of traffic, I don't see much downtime from them at all. Have you personally complained to a host they used and as a result it was taken down? How many times has it been taken down, once or twice, for a day, half a day? You think the hosts are oblivious to what's going on with these high traffic sites until a complaint is made?

They do? How do you know they actually run the site? Just because they are moderators isn't evidence that they run or have ownership of the site. Again, where is this stolen content hosted again? On their physical server?

Oh, but it does. Those same disclaimers protect many sites from losing in court against companies or person(s) claiming copyright infringement. Even Yahoo and Google groups where users post links to outside sites that may have stolen content have the exact same type of disclaimers.

If I started a thread here on GFY with stolen content, does that mean GFY is liable? If Google's search engine spiders a list of rapidshare links filled with stolen content, are they liable? This is exactly the reason piratebay has just recently had ALL copyright infringement charges against them dropped.
