    Epassporte, that wasn't okay

    I got message saying that for security reasons my pin was changed but it doesn't say to what and when I try to submit my own pin it doesn't go through, over and over.

    You should have just asked me to change my pin, which I would.

                  if you're doing this for security purposes, you really SHOULD just sent a message advising us to change pins; you have no right on DOING THIS INSTANTLY!! these is OUR card, OUR money!!

                                                                  ePassporte would like to inform you that an increasing number of merchants and ATMS in your country have been compromised. Due to this situation, ePassporte has automatically changed the PIN of your Visa Electron Card. To set the PIN of your Visa Electron Card to a value of your choice, please go to "My Account", select the "Visa Card" option from the navigation bar, and click the "Manage Visa Cards" button. To update your PIN, enter your new preferred pin, confirm it by entering it a second time, and then click the "Update" button.

                                                                  As well, ePassporte recommends that you transfer all of your available funds from your Visa Virtual Account to your ePassporte Wallet. This is added assurance that your funds are still safe if your Visa Virtual Account or Visa Electron card is ever lost, stolen or compromised through a stolen data base, a compromised merchant or ATM. To initiate the transfer, go to "My Account", select the "Transfer Money" option from the navigation bar, and click the "Wallet To/From Visa Virtual" button.

                                                                                  I don't think cries of spoiled Christmas's are quite warranted yet.                                                                                                       whatever reason they got, it would never be enough.. the point is its not for them to decide to suddenly change pins.. its up to us, the account holders, because it is our money..

                                                                                                      like i said, they should have messaged first that our pins should be changed.. or if they really want to change it themselves, they should have set a deadline for it to be done manually..

                                                                                                      also, this would never been a very big problem if the update pin works..

                                                                                                                          For security reasons accounts from some countries have had their pin code reset because of a large amount of skmming of cards at the ATM in some countries.
                                                                                                                          This is for security to prevent money being withdrawn in case your card have been skimmed.
                                                                                                                          If you have problems setting a new pin please email me your UserID to [email protected] and I will get Tech to look at it asap.
