      I actually slowed down on the highway the other day because I thought I saw someone using a car phone that I passed. Turns out I was hallucinating.

                                          I used to sell those suckers, the motorola bag and car phones lol. They were around 1200.00 back then (very early 90's) and cost about 120.00 a month or more for ridiculous low amount of minutes lol

                                                  Yep in From 89-90 I worked for Radio Shack and we sold the "tank" phone as I called it. That thing weighed about 10 pounds and two huge batteries and cost about $1500. The service was about $50 a month but you got no free minutes. Every minute was around 35 cents so it could add up really fast.

                                                  The best day sales I ever had there was when a guy who owned a construction company bought one of those phones from me then about a week later he came back and bought 10 more for all his foremen. An average sales day at my store was to do around $400-$600 a day in sales per sales person. That day I sold him those phones and extended warranties on them all and it was about $18,000. Needless to say I took the rest of the day off

                                                      Shit I feel old now ... i remember those old bricks the co. I worked for at the time updated all of the vehicles from CB Radios to the bricks .... cost an absolute packet and you could never get them cause the battery had gone flat!
                                                      The day Microsoft makes a product that does not suck will be the day they start making vacuum cleaners.
