They're not short to say the least, you need to include marketing plans, exit strategy, forecasts, projections, etc. You're looking at a 10-20 pager.

i don't know if i need to include all this. After all i'm not looking for an investor, i believe the purpose of this business plan is to let a bank know about the nature of my business and where i will be getting payments from.

The problem is that, as an affiliate, i don't think it's a good idea to write that i sell porn, but most of the payments will be coming from CCBill...

Send them fluff - if they're not cool with it, you won't be accepted with open arms once they find out the nature of your business and you'll be out looking for a new bank in short period anyway.

If that's the case, save yourself the future headaches and find a different bank now, rather than later.

I would say that I don't have a formal business plan because I don't need investors, since I run an established online marketing business. Send them chasing after wikipedia definitions of web publisher and pay per click advertising.

Are you kidding? Just go to another bank that won't hassle you.

My gut tells me that there's no way this ends well for you.

If you're going to do the offshore thing, you should have it set up by professionals over here (i.e. a competent attorney) and all of these things will be handled for you.

In cases like these, you really do get what you pay for.

Just fax them a letter saying you plan to create a website where it will cost you more to get your customers than you will make off of them. You will cook the books for a few years to make it look like you are making a profit then bottom out and request a government bailout. It is working for fortune 500 companies, why not your startup.

Find a different bank. Or better yet contact a specialist to handle it for you, use the Google. My country is tiny, but still has specialists to handle these things. It's not that expensive. Good luck, and lol at making business plans for dipshit bankers ; You should contact them back, and demand they make a business plan, for how they're gonna protect your cash

In fact this is what i did, i hired a company that specializes in offshore solutions to register all that stuff for me. Unfortunately i haven't heard from them for 3 weeks and after i sent the request to attorneys in Panama where my company is established, they informed me that they need to provide a business plan to a bank. At th bank's site they only require the description of the nature of the business activity, i'm trying to find out if that would be enough or they really need a business plan.
