that easy? I had to go through all the setting, assign a folder to sync to and then set the device to sync on hook up... works great

this is where I got all fucked up: I tried to make playlist and load stuff on them, total waste of time....

I'll fuck around with the right click tomorrow

Right click the song, send to play list. Then go to the play list section, right click on the playlist, send to device.

It should say "Sync with Name", Name being whatever name you gave your device... in my case, Bertha. Yes, I named my Zune Bertha.

I think your problem is you started "hacking". I never did anything like that, it was basically plug and play.

I did the hack because I couldn't get all the social net work crap to work for me... it's a pretty easy hack. not sure it did any harm. not going to use it anyway... it's only for putting 'data' in the zune. not tunes etc..
