My conversion rate has gone to complete shit. It started around March and is still getting worse. I'm considering making some tube sites. If you can set your hate aside and give me any advice I'll take it.

Here's the deal, a week ago or so some screenshots were leaked from a smallish program doing something like a few hundred regular joins and close to 30K cross-sale joins in a 3mo period. This is a small program. There's over 200 programs out there doing the pre-checked cross-sale thing. Most of those 30K surfers who got dinged with a cross-sale will NEVER buy porn again. Not from me, not from you, not from anyone. Now, do the math, multply 10K/mo by 200 and see what number that lands you at. I stuck with 10K/mo despite the fact that most of the bigger programs who pull this shit do much more damage than that. Anyway, once you're done crunching numbers tell me if you still think that diminishing the pool of potential buyers by raping their credit cards is less bad than giving them free porn to watch (something we've been doing for years BTW).

If you are gonna start a tube do a niche tube. Get sponsors that have both embeded and downloadable content, Having embeded content saves on bandwith. Also try and get a script which allows you to plug movies from other tube sites for traffic.
