Looking to travel someplace nice for NYE for relatively cheap

A few of my friends and I want to travel somewhere nice for New Years Eve. We want to go for 4-5 days and come back on Jan 1st.

Any recommendations? Not looking to spend a fortune either...

Any where in Mexico is cheap right now, my personal Fav. is Cozemel because I like the water is like glass, you walkout and hand feed the fish bread they swim to you and eat out your hand. But if you like big waves Cabo San Lucas is my 2nd choice (more of a party place) Good luck!

for Christmas we are renting a villa (5 bedrooms, 2 floors) by some big ass lake for $500 for two nights, for NYE I'm paying $50 for the night at a good restaurnat with friends, everything is cheap over her, I hope it stays that way at least for the net two years
