Almost impossible to find these days. Even if it says made in canada/america, that only has to mean assembled in canada/america. All materials,parts, etc can still come from other countries.

Sad but true, I look around my room and I can't find anything made in the US.

A dismal truth to an extent. Under current Canadian law, if 51 per cent of the production costs were incurred in Canada and the last substantial transformation of the product occurred in Canada, it is legal to use the 'Made in Canada' labels.

Harper has already proposed amendments to the guidelines to toughen them up.

Not to say its easy - but...if one does their homework well enough - they can still find products that are entirely made in Canada/U.S.

90% of the items (except maybe GAS, because china needs more gas than it can produce) you mentioned are available in china, all the other markets are gonna die off cause of china.
