For about two years there were these group of guys from India (Like 4 or 5 of them) that I guessed owned some gas stations that would buy 1,000 - 2,000 DVDs at a time almost every month from me and at least two of my close competitors that I do business with. I'm talking an easy $10,000 per pop and all I had to do was send one e-mail to my shipment facility. All of a sudden all these guys are just gone, not one order, nothing. Man I miss easy money like that, I don't even make money that easy with my big distribution deals. Just thought about it today when i came across and old e-mail from one of them.

I pay so much to my affiliates that my dvd store isn't even really profitable, I make my big money from getting big fish like those guys I mentioned above.

Bootleg porn dvds is no longer done on smaller studios. Not even in India I think. Looks like the guys got busted for porn. It's illegal there for sure (I smuggled porn to those countries when the first dvds appeared)
We sell those stocklots legal in qty's for like 50 cents to 1,-in our wholesale bizz. Pressing them in a factory is more expensive! Top studios go out for like 2,- to 5,- these days

If anybody needs very cheap dvds...I have them in stock. As many as you want. All studios are clearing out their stocks lately and closing down warehouses and consolidating.

they probably found that 95% of your dvds are available free on tube sites, that's why they spent 5000 on a high end connection downloading 24/7 insteaD of buying your dvds..
