When I was a kid I found $10 (a fortune for a kid) and I went bowling with it. Such an awesome thing to do with the $10 you find as a kid.

right?

Fuck no, I've lost my wallet many times and not one fucking person even returned the wallet let alone the cash.

In July I lost my wallet with $200 in cash in it, never seen it. Some bastard drops $100k, I'm $100k richer.

AngusAl 12-10-2008 03:06 PM

Once I checked the purse and could NOT find ID or a wallet or anything saying who owned it, I would assume someone left it on a drug deal or something and by the rules of the "game" that would make it ALL mine :)

blonda80 12-10-2008 03:14 PM

yes i would :)

AmeliaG 12-10-2008 03:18 PM

I'd give it back, but I would accept the $1,000 reward money too.

Violetta 12-10-2008 03:23 PM

depends on the settings... If I KNEW noone would find out that I found them, I guess I wouldnt. And if it was some rich dude who lost it, and wouldnt care...

brand0n 12-10-2008 03:24 PM

fuck no. 8 chars

Donfoolio 12-10-2008 03:34 PM

What did she "need" it for if she was carrying it and left it in a bathroom? With a picture in it? HELLO? Are you all that naive? That was a hit payoff! I would have kept that shit even if it was not, anybody that stupid deserves to lose it for good. That shit would have been handcuffed to me. :1orglaugh

notime 12-10-2008 03:45 PM

I would return it without any doubts

The first time I remember finding money was $50 on a bus with my Mum .... when I was about 8 (circa 1974) . It was on the floor of the bus in the aisle and I picked it up then walked up and gave it to the driver. My Mum taught me to value people over money and I am a better person for it.

Yet I really think it depends on circumstance ( a little like value over money, the difference between cost and money) If one of my children or my Mum needed $100k for an operation to save their life then I would keep the money and pay for their operation! That $100k would be worth more than any millions. I am sure you get what I mean. I am attempting to be as honest as I can .... I think like most things it depends of context/circumstance. :2 cents:

YUP:1orglaugh Sorry, Firehorse........ I like the way this woman just didnt hand over the cash to the staff at the restaurant, so they could scam it:winkwink:

I almost hate to admit it, but I feel pretty much the same. I would take that cash and that would be the end of it.

If you find that much money laying around theres more where it came from.

Karma on the other hand, is a bitch. I would always know what I did. Some little girl wouldn't get her kitten for Christmas and I would have to think about that.

But 100k..........

Supz 12-10-2008 06:24 PM

you would never see it again.

Neighbor 12-10-2008 06:35 PM

zipped up and walking outta cracker barrel lookin like a $2 tranny with my new 100k purse...

For all that said they would return it, I have one thing to say

You're either too rich already, or smokin alot of crack! You think someone would return 100k to you...get real!

Daddy Big Nuts 12-10-2008 06:38 PM

I heard this story on the radio. Man...if you found it at a Cracker Barrel? I think in that case...I'd probably keep it....

SmokeyTheBear 12-10-2008 07:27 PM

the story sounds fishy. she found a purse with 100k in it so she took it home without telling the restaurant until after she had gotten home ?

EroticistFilms 12-10-2008 09:35 PM

Who the fuck hauls that kind of $$$ around?
CRIMINALS!!

If the cops had pulled her over they would have seized the fuck out of!

BTW - NEVER CARRY OVER $2000, If you get caught with over a couple thousand bucks, they will assume it is drug money and seize it.

PSS - you will NEVER get it back! If you don't believe me, talk to any criminal lawyer.

Tough call. Knowing me I'd probably return it, but not without temptation.

Ya know, that's the first thing that came to my mind, if I had $97K, I for one, wouldn't be going out to eat with me at the Cracker Barrel and even if for some reason I had to take it, it'd be glued to me, I'd hang the bag around my neck if I had to cut a shit, ha ha.

As far as giving it back, it'd be a tough call, I guess I'd have to be put in that situation. Does someone want leave a bag with that kind of money lying around and test me ?? he he he.

I'm partial to that kind of thinking, but the real issue was brought up by someone else. There was no ID in the purse, only a wad of cash and a photo. NO ONE takes $100k around and leaves it in the bathroom. It totally looks like a hit payment. Save someone's life! ;)
