fake myspaces.. what do you do?

I'm sick of fake profiles adding me and having to filter them out.

Post a bulletin with a link to the offending profile(s) and tell all of your friends to report it. Saves you from doing it, and myspace will get a ton of reports from your friends.

It'll never stop, though, unless you watermark over the center of the images.

ya crazy guys take my pictures and make fake myspaces all the fucking time.. i mean its a daily issue ive got, day in day out having to deal with this shit. drives me so fucking crazy.

Maybe affiliates set them up and spam the chatrooms driving traffic to your site.

sometimes, but those are easy to tell and if they are only sending me traffic, I let it slide as long as there is no shady biz on the space, but those guys should be using my watermarked pics.

usually they make you hold up a fansign or shout out with url and they will kill all others in existence, i know jenna had to do it and tera did also. peter didn't have to do it but they removed the fakes because the email to myspace was from an official domain

prob is after awhile others pop up and you have to report constantly

I don't see anything in your profile that would get you deleted, unless I missed a nude photo or link to your site (just saying AaliyahLove.com is okay). So report away!

Also, some fake profiles may be affiliates sending you joins, but there's also a lot of people that will make an account, pretend to be you, and scam guys out of money. So it's important to just report them all, because you have no idea what kind of fraud's going on in their message boxes

Post a picture of yourself holding a sign with your MySpace link on the sign. Then email MySpace with the fake profile and your own personal profile. That should do the trick!
