I just joined some other boards and while skimming thru the messages I saw alot of people saying bad things about GFY.. such as "Thats just a lot of GFY-style drama!"
I even was emailing back and forth with some guy from one of those OTHER BOARDS about signing up his GF for webcamming, and when I said to him "that board is kinda lame, it's too slow, do you ever go to GFy? Thats where I mostly post"This was his reply:

No Board can claim they are the best because all of them have something unique. But regardless of what ANYONE says, everyone checks GFY...they just may not post. Check out some controversial threads about some companies and you will see maybe 100 replies, but 2k views, or more. What do you think that is about. If you want to say something, and don't have time to hit every board, post it here and it will wind up there 100% of the time.

I've said from back sometime in 2001 that GFY is like a huge vortex, not unlike that of a giant toilet in mid-flush. You either sink or swim here but really, who among us doesn't enjoy a good sit on the throne? I know I do, as is obvious with my 40k posts.
There was this other board though, years ago, where a lot of people including the board owner used to sit around bashing GFY and the people who post here. I posted in one of their little trashing threads and tried to explain just what the deal is with this board and was promptly jumped all over for it. (I was very diplomatic) ( :D ) I thought I was going to be banned. Not that it mattered much, that board lasted a year or two after that and then went out of business.
