pop up spam / virus type thing - GoFuckYourself.com

My computer has started displaying a Windows pop up box titled "Messenger Service" asking if I want to buy a university diploma... Call now, etc.

Is this some sort of spam virus I have accidentally downloaded? Anyone know about it?

control panels -> admin tools -> services -> messenger -> DISABLE it (the service) u have to disable u can't just hit STOP or it will turn back on when u reboot ... happened to me a couple times b4 i figured it out grr

i bought 40 boxes of cigars, 40 ifriends memberships from geocities, and 40 u n i v e r s i t y diplomas before i realized it wasnt techs from my ISP!!!!

Yeah, those really are annoying...Although, the majority of people have NO idea how to turn it off.

I'm highly surprised the pr0n industry hasn't started to spam using it yet =)
