Gta iv

I just started playing this game, late I know but I have not gotten around to it until now. I bloody love it, it manages to completely submerge me into the world. Not many games can do that. The atmosphere of the city is awesome and the graphics are very good albeit buggy and sometimes too dark. What really made it for me is the story, a former russian soldier coming to liberty city (new york) to make it big in the underworld.

I have 5-6 hours into it now and cant wait until I get to the second island.

Actually, it's not nearly as good as San Andreas, and the missions/plot becomes a little un imaginative.

No chainsaw, no hammer, no silenced weapons, or silent kills, no planes, no sky diving, no tanks, fewer weapons, no bikes, no haircuts, no car customization, more radio but shorter loops, worse radio (opinion), the TV is both short and annoying

It's a good game, but a major step back from GTA:San Andreas and the lack of new downloadable content makes me angry, they should be making more of those buildings enterable, and giving us new missions or campaigns, shit something

San Andreas always frustrated me...Especially the motorcycle part.

I am at 14%, just intalled the game to the HDD now after the xbox dash update they released the other day and now the game runs better without that really annoying cd drive spinning loudly.

Thanks mate

I was puzzled how to do this as well. First turn of the setting that makes the game start when you put in the disc, its under system settings somewhere. Then put the disc in, wait for it to be recognized and move over to games tab, click A to see avalible options for gta IV and there you should se an option to install the game to HDD.

Odd timing, I finished it in June and just restarted playing a new game again this weekend.

And I also read there will be a all new download for Xbox 360 only Feb. 2009 that will be based on a new character who is in a motorcycle gang and will be 1 of 2 downloads.

Has anyone gone online and played it? I was looking at it this weekend.

I found the game extremely boring.

You drive around doing missions making money while you live in some shithole house. Then you move into a slightly less shithole house. You have nothing to spend the money on except clothing.

The controls on xbox 360 are also shit :S

Thanks mate

You need the new dashboard update, NXE (New Xbox Experience). You put the dvd in, go back to the dashboard and there is an option there under games or something to install to HDD.

GTA4 is best online. IMH when i 1st got it i never really played it much untill i got my ps3 online and then thats the only game i play online now. im a pro with the heli now and can shoot people with those guns moving from left to right
