    I won $1000 in the Mr. Big Bucks Contest thread, but it was for a Photoshop design. Also won a free pass and hotel room to the Atlanta Forum from pimpmansion (also for photoshop) but I gave it to the 2nd place guy because I live local and didn't need the room. I've never done a thread bump contest though.

                                            My problem with some contest threads is that it seems to do a disservice to the company. A couple times I've seen a cool promotion and had a quick question about it. But instead of having a readable thread, it was the same 3 contest whores typing useless crap. It seems the company could benefit more from taking questions and comments from actual webmasters instead of having a thread on page 1 for a couple days.

                                                    Yeah I've asked questions about the sites/program/promo or whatever in the thread and of course they never get answered, just buried in a flurry of third world whoreage.

                                                    Now I hide every contest thread using FFVB every time it is created... The front page of GFY is so much cleaner

But I don't spend all day in the thread...
