Anyone approved by VISA yet ?

It's the 7th (8th in other parts of the world). Anybody who filed the VISA registration get approved/denied by VISA yet ? Do sites have to be APPROVED by the 15th to continued getting processed or do they just have to file their registration by the 15th and they will continue to get processed after that?

I think as long as you paid your 750 porn tax and your domain isnt kiddiefuckers.com . You are approved, how were they going to review all those sites, it would take a year to get an approval. I think it was a cash grab.

I have to agree with that, there is no way in hell they are going to be reviewing each and every site by hand, at least not by Nov 15th.

Do you think preteenasianfarmorgy.com will get by?

Say a prayer for me as Nov 15th approaches.

One of our processors sent us a name change to our descriptor that Visa had asked for, so apparently some one is reviewing them.

All:

Visa is looking at URL?s and the new descriptor extensions (i.e.: Paycom.net*ABCDEFG* the characters between the asterisks being the extensions) during the registration process. Our understanding is that everyone is assumed registered in the first round, which is concluded on the 15th, if IPSP?s comply before the 15th. EPOCH has complied. Our banks now have the registrations and Visa will have them in the next day or two.

I don?t think that Visa will look at every single one of the URL?s, but I am prepared that they will. Let?s remember they process 4,000 transactions a SECOND and have had 7 minutes of downtime in 30 years! So it is a bit naïve to think they ?can?t? do anything.

Future registrations will require a run, by the IPSP, at the TMF (MATCH File) before the URL is allowed to register and process.

Hope this helps.

And thanks to our clients for registering on time!

Chris
CEO EPOCH

KimmyKim > I'm wondering why they didnt like your descriptor , was it it because the name was too long and they didnt like the way it was shortened, or because they didnt like the name you chose ?

Is there something we should be concerned about ?
