Yeah, it's lame compared to COD4. It's a good game and all but I just don't like the WW2 setting.

the one thing that it is definitely good for is the Capture The Flag, that's the only thing COD 4 was lacking for me.
this game isn't really a huge upgrade from 4, and I would have preferred if it was some Modern stuff also, but I'll take it for what it is and it's really not all that bad.
I have noticed, the game is always better when I'm doing good, but when I'm doing bad and on the losing teams I keep thinking the game isn't that great lol
games are always a lot more fun when you're winning

I completed it last night. Didn't enjoy the campaign mode half as much as i did COD4, and i just wanted it to end.
I didn't think any of the levels 'stood out' like the ones in cod4. None of them looked quite as polished and rememberable as the ones from the previous game. The tank level was just fucking shit.
In saying that, it still isn't a bad game, and we were probably spoiled with COD4, so just expected this to be just as good if not better. And sadly, it probably isn't.
I will still be playing COD4, as i just love it online. Can't beat a good Ground War !
I'd have been more than happy just to play COD4 with all new maps, rather than this one going back to WWII.
It just isn't the same...

I enjoy the game more than COD4. The online matches are bit more exciting and killing people a bit more difficult. The enemy AI in the actual single player missions is always much smarter than the last go round.
I didn't think going back to WWII would be something I'd enjoy, but sure enough I'm really digging COD5.
The Bond game (built on the same engine as the last 2 COD games) has some great online multiplayer match ups too, if you want something more "modern".Comment
