No anyone, with a brain gets this... Rahm would of most likely been a back room deal with AIPAC (before he won the election) in order to get their support. In the end Obama would of agreed to continue the same old failed policy in the region that heavily favors Israeli crimes and place some friends of theirs close to the presidency. Change!

The DOJ is typically hands off for Presidents. Some macro-policy they can influence, but trust me Obama isn't going to tell his Attorney General not to prosecute obscenity cases if Holder takes that route. Presidents know if they mess around with the DOJ it could cripple their administration quick with calls for a special prosecutor. And if the political pressure becomes great enough, one could even get appointed and who knows what happens...

Holder was acceptable to both Reagan and Bush 41, so he must have a conservative streak in him and one that seemingly got pulled from those religious activist groups quite well ten years ago.
