HDTV - Yeah, baby... - GoFuckYourself.com

I've had my 65" widescreen HDTV for nearly a year, and I love it... but until about an hour ago, the best picture I was seeing was from DVDs (480 lines).

My local cable company just recently started offering HD signals, so I had them come out today with one of their new fancy-schmancy High Definition Digital Cable boxes. There's not much programming available yet (http://www.hdtvgalaxy.com/broad.html), but let me tell you, what there is looks amazing! 1080 lines of high definition goodness!

Anyone else out there enjoying HDTV? Tell me about it.

I used to.. but i got rid of it.

The only thing i used it for was grabbing my wireless keyboard/mouse... and cranking out my comp signal thru s-video..

Its so nice to be able to work from the other side of the room on the couch, while watching picture in picture sitcoms

I highly recomend it to anyone with a nice big screen and s-video out on their video card.

My company just made the FIRST 100% digital TV-station focused on the HDTV standart.... IT is a "test-study" and will run for 26 month, where the Danish National Television channel will deside if they want to move to the new standarts as well.... very exiting area, and a area with TONS of money
