Gay sites should convert better. They are sexual minority after all. All fetish sites and other speciality porn sites do have great ratios and as someone noted above, gay man really do tend to have more money they can spend on fun.

QFT. Chargebacks are HUGELY less of an issue with gay porn. You never get that "My husband wouldn't have charged this--WOULD YOU HAVE, HONEY???" angry call from the wife.

Sometimes I wish there was a way to filter out all the rep/sponsor spam.

I'm sitting on a couple gay domains but haven't messed with them yet. With my erotic nudes rations slumping I'm looking at new niches as well.

Almost a year later gay traffic still converts better

Especially when the site is newly released like http://www.hotboysatplay.com/ , for example.
