What are the 11 secret spices in Kentucky fried chicken?
Why are the holes in a pepper shaker smaller than the holes in a salt shaker when the pepper flakes are larger than salt grains? |
Why do they said weight's not genetic when indentical twins always weigh the same +/-10 pounds? Surely you don't believe they always eat the exact same things and excercise the same amount of time! :(
(don't mind me - I'm just trying to blame my weight problems on my ancestors - not the fat I eat and the exercise I avoid :winkwink: ) |

Things I often ponder: Is a "horsepower" rating really accurate? How do they test these things? What if just one of the "Laws of Physics" turns out to be wrong? Would that alter all "scientific" beliefs about the universe, etc? Why is it that high-profile vehicles always have one headlight that hits me right in the eyes? |

Imagine that you see a loooong ruler..so long that you can't see eighter ends of it...it's just standing in front of you... if you look at it, the inches are distancing... That's the way you have to look at it...Objets in universe are distancing...it doesn't mean the limits are getting farther....That's why they say it's growing... |

Therefore if a single 'law of physics' was shown to be incorrect, other things based on that law would have to be modified. It would be a shift in thinking more than completely altering things. There are hundreds of laws and principles and discovering that one is wrong wouldn't necessarily be detrimental. |
why am I here?

Furthermore Wenchy, a change in a law or a belief can significantly alter knowledge. It can do so in a positive way.
People used to think that the reason we got sick was because we had demons in us. To remove the demons they drained the sick persons blood (in effect making them more sick). When it was discovered that little things called germs were the culprit causing sickness, beliefs were changed drastically and for the better. This is just an example to illustrate my point. |

How did we get here I've always wondered.
I've always found it facinating how babies are made. Not how we make them but how they grow from an egg and a sperm. Quite intriguing actually |
Where and how did the words pussy and hahahaha originate? They describe the same thing but I prefer using the former.
The word was c u n t as in "you're a daft c u n t!" |

Is spider mans cum made of web? How many bitches live on wonder womans Island? |
Thanks for the explanations/examples, Bobo. As someone with an extensive background in the sciences, it was more of a rhetorical question... compounded by a healthy dose of sarcasm, which pretty much comes naturally for me (I often forget that people around here don't know me well enough yet to understand that more charming part of my personality) :1orglaugh
They were very nice answers though, and I just wanted to say thanks both for your time and your input :) |
If lightning were to strike the ocean how far would the electricity travel and how far would it be strong enough to be life threatening
