So what's the consensus - I personally don't want to stay in the Venetian, KKs post just put the icing on the cake..
I got bumped from the Paris to Ballys last year, that sucked ass. So what's good? Harrahs? Grand? Treasure Island? I'm a Vegas hotel ignoramus. Cheers, Backov |
We stayed in Treasure Island last time. Since we are small time country bumbkins, it was fine for us.
We stayed just above the pirate show, and could see it fine from our room. We paid maybe $300 for the weekend. That was the room, room service, and a couple of movies. |

The one thing about Treasure Island I dont like -- and one side of the Venetian has this too -- is that ifyou are right overlooking that pirate show, it starts at noon and you cant get any sleep with it going on. :(
Some of the lower floors at the Aladdin are the same way when the Bellagio starts up the fountains... Bellagio is nice, very nice, quite European, and it's not cheap to gamble there, tho they have added some lower minimums since Sept 11. The service there is great too. |
I'm going and will be staying in a janitors cupboard in the Venetian.:1orglaugh :1orglaugh
Anyone who knows me can come and see me and I will buy them a drink, at the water faucet:1orglaugh :1orglaugh No seriously, will probably buy everyone who knows me a beer in one of the bars. |
