So wait... when there's an election and non-Americans have an opinion, we're all chastized and pelted with rocks since we should have no opinion what so ever on anything American.
But when you have a holiday, every site on the net should be themed up to tell the world about it?
I will never chastise anyone for having an opinion.
Every site? No, but a site owned by a US entity? Yes - especially if they will go out of their way to honor non US occasions.
And my (US) clarification was simply to point out the group I was talking to. Most non us citizens are fairly patriotic, and I would expect sites ran in their respective countries to honor THEIR holidays / days of remembrance.
Then don't partake in my lameness.
We often have the same views on things, and I usually like what you have to say - even if I disagree.
This just isn't one of those times.

I just think theres a positive way to say things and a negative.
Instead of making a thread to honor vets, you chose to whine about Yahoo.
Meanwhile, you showed no recognition of those who sacrificed their life. Instead, you want a yahoo graphic thread.
that was my only point about "does this rly matter?"

Is today not a day of remembrance in Canada too? It is in the UK. I totally get your point but I think a nod can be made without it being specific to us Vetrans day as it is a day of remembrance in many countries today.
I think that is disappointing on Yahoo's part too.
A small expense to get a custom logo to run for the day. If they'd wanted to.
They had one on earth day.
You'd think Yahoo'd acknowledge it considering they're more than likely about to become a veteran of a long brutal war. Google kissed their ass goodbye already. :P
