Subject says it all. My website is getting a bounce rate or 32% according to Google analytcis. Is that high? And what would you consider a good target to be below?

I assume the lower the rate the better?

It's all up source of your traffic, if it's niche traffic then it's high, if it's crap traffic then don't need to be.

The traffic source is mainly linklists and directories, some google and some free sites.

Yes the lower the better and 32% is very good.

That's a relatively low bounce rate in my experience.

either you have very niche traffic and no direct hits or you have 500 hits a day, post a google screencap so we can see whatsup id say
