I was just in Little Tokyo earlier and I saw like 20 Harajuku girls walking around. The last time I saw them all out in full force was during the Cherry Blossom festival in the spring.
I stopped one and she said there was a convention at the Kyoto and that she was from Louisiana. I said the "Kyoto?" and she said, "yeah, I think" Another girl was there and I said are you here for the show as well, and she said yeah.
So I came home, called the Kyoto, and they've heard of no such thing.
I called the right Kyoto because there is only one in Little Tokyo, and I didn't think to confirm the location with the other girl who was from Texas. So all I know is that there were two different girls from different parts of the nation that came in especially for the show and the one I spoke with got the name of the place wrong.
Anyone heard of anything like that in Little Tokyo this weekend? I wanna go and shoot as many pics as I can. I dig that look.
