ATT - EBay users with their own merchant account

    Greetings all,

I have a problem that I hope someone can help we with. I was in the hospital earlier this year and have fallen on some hard times because of it. I am in the process of generating some income for rent and other necessities on eBay and have found that i am unable to do this because eBay has decided to only use Paypal and Paypal frozen my account last year and has refused to restore it. The only other options I have are to use Propay, which I do not currently qualify for, or my own merchant account, which i do not have and cannot get because of bad credit caused by my recent illness. I was wondering if there might be someone out there with a merchant account who would process my ebay transactions for a reasonable fee. I have many things to sell so this could generate you some decent $$.

I would also consider any other ideas people might have. I don't understand how eBay can get away with its paypal only policy. It seems to be to be a clear violation of anti-trust laws. Moreover, I would prefer to NEVER use paypal, even if they unlocked my account, because they are basically a bunch of crooks who lock accounts for no reason and make millions in interest. The very thought of making them a dime sickens me. FUCK PAYPAL.

Just a quick followup question. Is it possible to process eBay sales transactions through CCBill? I am assuming not because I have never heard of anyone doing this.

Ebay and Paypal are owned by the same people. Make sense now?

Sorry to hear about your problems, but advertising that you lost your paypal account AND have credit problems is not the best sales pitch when finding people to process for you.

      Good luck.

        Smells like shit.

Just do what all the other ebayers do and open another paypal account in a friends name.

You won't find any help like that on here.

I already knew about the EBay Paypal association.

RE: your other comment. I understand that my situation makes me less of an ideal candidate but all i can do is be honest. At least people will know that i am not a liar, if that makes any difference.

BTW - the only reason I lost my PP account was because I tried to sell some domains, some of which were adult. I stupidly assumed that what PP meant by adult content was actual adult content and not a string of letters that SOME PEOPLE might find offensive like BUSTYBIKINIBABES.COM. The claim that trying to sell words and phrases like these was a violation of their policy and they froze my account, put a hold on the $$ I was sent, and eventually returned it all to the buyer. The total amount was for several k and had the transaction gone through, I likely could have avoided many of the problems I am not facing. Shortly after PP froze my account, I got sick and ended up spending several weeks in the hospital. i hold PP partially, if not fully, responsible for a large part of of problems.

If you currently use them, they can freeze your money at any time and for any reason and do not have to justify it to you. They do this to several thousand users every month and make millions on the interest that they collect over the six months they hold your funds. They are criminals and should be in fucking prison, IMHO.

Probably not, but PLEASE don't question my credibility unless you have specific reasons for doing so. I am not a scammer.

PS - I would prefer NOT to open another Paypal account. They are fucking criminals and thieves who can close your account at any time and for any reason.
