Yeah because God forbid that the government actually try to regulate something.
It's really no surprise to see people reacting to the "threat" of regulation where a need for regulation might exist. One of our political parties has been all about deregulation and instilling fear. This is just the fresh baked cookie that happens when you mix those together.
