I can manage the virtual keyboard, but would prefer a hardware keyboard.

So far I haven't pushed it yet so I am still playing around but speed feels the same. I think the Sprint versions both have the same processor. Ram and rom specs I will have to check. I know the gsm versions are a little different.
The keyboard is awesome. FYI I had downloaded a program called gsen which 'sometimes' let me set the keyboard in landscape mode by turning the phone but it didn't always work. I had to reset it often. I bang off emails and text all day long so I just wanted something that worked for me consistently (the keyboard).
The one thing I do like better about the Diamond is the physical shape. It's more squared off which looks awesome. The Pro is your typical rounded off corners. That's just a stupid personal taste though.
Don't get me wrong, the Pro is thicker but if you put the phones side by side it's not too bad.
