The first EVER was sticky bear, which I played in like 1st grade computer class.
The first game I ever enjoyed playing was Oregon Trail or Pitfall. Maybe the repetitive Kung Fu game. The first game I REALLY got into was Duke Nukem 3d. I loved that game. |

Bubble Bobble and Ultima IV on my Amiga 500. I remember paying almost $1000 at the time for an extra 1/2 megabyte of memory and a 20 mb hard drive!
I played those games for days and days...and then I discovered Sim City. I lost weeks at a time to it. |

Not sure if it was the first but close was the original Sim City or maybe F16 Falcon (black & white). M1 Tank Platoon by Microprose, wore out the 5 1/4 inch floppies on that one. |

You had to protect deer in the wild or something like that and sometimes you had to decide to shoot them or not. I remember being traumatized for a good half hour about having to make that choice.
