WTFuck's a matter with you Photoshop Whiners
Every time someone like Twisty's or Dean post glamour shots on this board someone has to jump in and say "that's not good photography, it's good Photoshop" or some such bullshit.
You guys are fucking idiots. All commercial photography is retouched. All magazine covers, billboards, movie posters, box covers, etc etc etc. They are all Photoshopped guys.
This is even more so true with glamour photography. And you know what, it's been this way since long before Adobe Photoshop was created. Black and white printers burn and dodge in the darkroom. Then they crop and pain out the blemishes etc. Color printers airbrushed and used chemicals to color tint or correct. Photoshop is simply a newer tool. Ansel Adams pictures were modified by the chemicals to build contrast.
In the old (film) days Playboy would take 2 days to shoot one centerfold on 8x10 film. They had amazing lighting, amazing makeup artists, and world class photographers. They still airbrushed the image to blend the skin tones.
Photoshop is simply a new post production tool. Sometimes it is overused, but usually it needs to be used. I think in porn girls it is not used enough.
These girls are not exactly super models.
There is a lot more porn that is under Photoshopped than over Photoshopped
While I agree that some (large) content companies way over retouch their sets, don't confuse good retouched images with bad photography covered up.
