                                                      Obama was the more protectionist of the two candidates running. Will you still fawn for him when those tendencies kick in and it costs someone in your region their manufacturing job? How about if he places restrictions on the importation of oil sands?


                                                      I know the hate for Bush is strong up here and the symbolism of Obama being elected was even stronger. Why Canadians think Obama was the better candidate when it comes to how the U.S. will deal with Canada though is a mystery.

                                                          Since its foundation Canada has been known as a "hewer of wood and drawer of water" so its just a little far fetched to say that Harper turned us into a resource economy
