Obama Wins the Election with help from The Old Dominion!
The last two Presidential elections I spent them with friends at bars in Washington DC. Both times I started the night very optimistic yelling and cheering, only to end up the end of the night drunk and depressed that the Democrat?s candidate did not win the win election.
This year I decided to stay at home and watch the election on Fox News. The reason I choose to watch Fox News was I did not want to get my hopes up like, CNN had done in previous years, only to have them shattered later. The place I grew up, Fairfax County in Northern Virginia, the same place that had segregated schools until 1971 has helped to delivered the election to Obama. Virginia, the former capital of Confederacy, who would have thought it possible. It has happened!
